Rates & Insurance Information
I accept various insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Optum, Cigna, and Harvard Pilgrim.
For those without insurance or not covered by these providers, private pay options are available. Should you choose not to use insurance, you are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of your service costs prior to your first appointment.
My current rates for private pay are $200 for an intake session, $175 for a 60-minute session (individual or couples/families), $150 for a 45-minute session, and $100 for a 30-minute session.
If you are not covered by the listed insurance plans, Out of Network billing can be utilized, allowing you to seek reimbursement from your insurance company for a portion of the private pay rate. Please check with your insurance provider to determine if they offer Out of Network benefits and what percentage they reimburse.
Insurance & Out of Network Benefits
Insurance Benefits: We recommend contacting your insurance company to confirm coverage, check eligibility and verify and confirm benefits prior to your initial session.
Your insurance company can let you know your responsibility for paying a copayment or coinsurance amount, or whether you are working toward meeting a deductible and what amount you will be responsible for.

Out of Network Benefits: If you are utilizing out-of-network benefits, you will pay the session fee directly to The Therapy Nook, LLC and will be provided a superbill for the full fee per session. You are responsible for submitting the superbill to insurance for reimbursement.

We recommend contacting your insurance plan prior to the first session to inquire about this benefit.
* Please note that if you are using insurance (even out-of-network benefits) to pay for sessions, your provider is required to give you or your child a formal diagnosis, which will become part of the medical record. Some people choose to pay out of pocket to avoid this.
